It took me some time to find myself again. For a few moments i just hung loosely in his arms as i felt each of his strides making contact with the ground. Once i managed to create full cohesive thoughts i looked up at him in frustration.

"Hold up Romeo" I snapped frowning.

"Shakespeare called he wants his act back!"

Loki looked down his face scrunching in confusion

"I'm sorry,I'm not sure i understand?" he chocked looking down at you raising an eyebrow questioningly.

"In this day and age you cant just sweep a girl off her feet like some damsel in distress and all of a sudden have her favor! That went out centuries ago.Weren't you told about Cooties when you were a kid? Cooties are why you shouldn't go around kissing on people and you sir are writhing with them! Now put me down!"

He stopped mid stride and looked down at me

" I am not a Cootie" he pouted his face a mixture confusion hurt and annoyance.

"And if i set you down how do you think you will be getting back to your home?

He flashed a wide triumphant smile as he started to walk in the direction that i came from. I gritted my teeth in frustration. I couldn't tell what irritated me more. The fact that he had a valid point or the  
cocksure look on his face when he made it . I crossed my arms glaring up at him defiantly.

"Well all i have to do is wait till my knees dont hurt...So i could just sit here until i can walk."

He let out a long laugh, amused by my stubborn words.

"Well" he smirked,eyebrows raising. His face reflecting his amusement that was growing by the minute.

"I can see (your age) Years was long enough to sufficiently harden your head. He again chuckled at his own joke very amused with him self .

"Ugh, you think you are quite cute don't you" i almost snarled.

"I am aware that i am rather desirable" he said the last word with careful annunciation and a lowered tone causing me to roll my eyes dramatically.

"besides" he continued "I know you think so as well" My eyes widened and i could feel the wave of blood return to my face .

"what the hell gave you that idea!?"

I began to argue before he cut me off.

"Ive been called both Devilish and handsome ...but never both at once"

At this point im certain that every drop of blood that existed in side of me or ever would was now rushing to my face. I was horrified! How did he...there is no way he knew that...could he read my mind?

"Not to mention" he continued " You did kiss me back"

"NO I DID NOT! YOU SCARED ME AND I FROZE!"

He winced as a wave of some kind of ensemble of emotions smacked his face and then vanished just as quickly as it was there. His gaze turned down to me his face gravely serious and menacing.

"Am I really so cold" His voice was low and his face was hard

...but his eyes were sad.
